Term Of Reference (in Vietnamese)
World Vision International in Viet Nam’s Microfinance Unit (MFU) is seeking a qualified consultant/team to deliver financial management and tax training, and conduct field assessments under the iMKA (Inclusive Market Knowledge and Access) component of the THRIVE Project.
The assignment aims to strengthen basic financial management capacity of producer groups and cooperatives, while assessing their current business performance, financial practices, and market access to inform tailored support interventions.
The consultant will:
- Design and deliver a 1-day training on financial management and tax compliance for household businesses and cooperatives
- Conduct 2–3 days of field assessments to evaluate production processes, financial management practices, product quality, and market linkages
- Identify key constraints and provide practical recommendations for improving business performance and market access
- Support the development of group-specific intervention plans aligned with market-oriented approaches
The assignment will be conducted in Quang Tri and Thanh Hoa provinces from March to September 2026, working with selected producer groups and cooperatives in agriculture and non-farm sectors.
MFU will cover consultancy fees, travel and accommodation costs, and provide relevant project documents and coordination support. The consultant/team is responsible for delivering high-quality outputs, tools, and reports as agreed.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in SME/coop development, value chains, or livelihood programs, with strong facilitation and fieldwork capacity.
